When you think of extra profit center soap vending probably doesn't ensue right to mind. After all, soap is essential to washing. Everybody exhibits it. Do they?
"I would like to believe soap vendors are neat common in most stores," says industry veteran Vince Hansen, Vend-Rite Mfg Co in Chicago. "Out of the 24000 to 36000 laundries that exist (industry estimate), we believe somewhere between 70 to 80 percent of the laundries sell soap."
