The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) has become a collaborating organization for the of recent origin journal Obesity Management. The bimonthly journal is the official publication of the Center for Obesity Research and Education, which includes eight U center that train primary care physicians and other health professionals in obesity management. AAFP has no financial obligation still will be recognized in the journal and onward the Web site. Academy members will be able to subscribe at a discount rate. The journal focuses upon issues surrounding the health hazards of obesity, practical advice and information about prevention and treatment, interviews with obesity adroits summaries of the latest research, online resources, and of the present day book and product reviews. Each issue contains novels tips, and tools. Other partners include the American Dietetic Association, the American community of Sports Medicine, the American Association of Diabetes Educators, and the American Obesity Association.
