onward June 14, members of the American Medical Association (AMA) House of Delegates fix uponed J. Edward Hill, M.D., pepperidge Miss., as AMA president-elect. Dr Hill will wait on as AMA president from June 2005 between the walls of June 2006. He has serv in the House of Delegates since 1979 has been a member of the AMA Board of Trustees since 1996 and is a past AMA board chair. He is a past president of his state medical association and of the Mississippi Academy of Family Physicians. Dr Hill is a board-certified family physician and was in private practice for 26 years in the rural Mississippi Delta, providing care for a traditional underserv population.
