The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and Hygenic Corp. have teamed up to make the Active Aging Toolkit. The work is a part of the National Blueprint: Increasing Physical Activity Among Adults Aged 50 and Older devise Other partners include the AARP and the American society of Sports Medicine. This resource was state together as a strategy for helping physicians prescribe physical activity programs for their patients that address cardiovascular work, stretching, force and balance. The blueprint was evolveed as an outline of broad strategies that will lead to increasing activity plains in older Americans.
