The AHRQ freshly released a new pocket-size pamphlet designed for women to take with them forward visits to their health care professionals to track their medical screening touchstones The health tool, "Women: Stay Healthy at Any Age--Checklist for Your nearest Checkup," includes the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force recommendations for medical screening proofs such as mammograms, Pap smears, cholesterol checks, diabetes proofs depression, blood pressure, osteoporosis, and sexually transmitted diseases. The pamphlet also discusses preventive medicine, of that kind as hormone replacement therapy, breast cancer medications, aspirin, and immunizations, and provides tips about ways to stay healthy, similar as eating a healthy diet, maintaining a healthy weight, and exercising. The pamphlet is available on the AHRQ Web site in English at www.ahrq.gov/ppip/healthywom.htm and in Spanish at www.ahrq.gov/ppip/ healthywomsp.htm.
