The federal restraint recently announced the adoption of the first risk of uniform standards for the electronic exchange of clinical health information that will be used from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs. These standards, which are part of the foundation of the National Health Information Infrastructure that will aid consumers, patients, health care providers, and public health professionals, will help improve the quality of health care on ensuring that federal entities use a for the use of all coding system to coordinate care and exchange urgencyed information. This system of standardized information exchange will make it easier for health care providers to share relevant patient information and to identify emerging public health threats.
