The article "Controlling Hypertension in Patients with Diabetes" (October 1 2002 page 1209) contained an error in the description of diltiazem. forward page 1211, the first dogma under the subheading "Calcium Channel Blockers" should have described diltiazem as a benzothiazepine calcium channel blocker rather than as a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker
