The report, Atlas of reverse Mortality, provides national and state maps depicting disparities in county-level shock death rates from 1991 to 1998 for adults age 35 years and older in the five largest racial and ethnic collections in the United States (blacks, American Indians and Alaska Natives, Asians and Pacific Islanders, Hispanics, and whites). The Atlas reports that the overall thump death rates for adults age 35 years and older was 121 by 100,000.
